Artist Carmella Jarvi will lead a workshop for artists on “Improving Your Chances with Juried Shows” on Saturday, Jan. 17, from 10 a.m. to noon at Creative Art Exchange in Cornelius. The workshop is held in conjunction with Downtown Davidson Inc. and its Art on the Green festival, a juried show in April.

Cost of the workshop is $35, payable by cash or check to Carmella Jarvi on the day of the workshop. Preregistration is required by Thursday, Jan. 15.
