The Davidson Town Board has called a special meeting for Tuesday, Jan. 6, at 6 p.m. to consider two affordable housing-related issues that were postponed at the last board meeting in December. The board will consider …
- Committing an additional $90,000 to a proposed renovation project for the Oakhill Apartments, off Beaty Street. The project’s owner is a Virginia-based nonprofit, Community Housing Partners Corp. The owner is seeking tax credits for the renovation work. The town would contribute funds toward the renovation only if the tax credits are approved.
- Committing land designated for affordable housing in Bailey Springs to complete a tax credit application as town’s contribution to a new construction tax credit project with DHC/AHB at Bailey Springs, Jetton Street and Mock Circle, contingent upon the project receiving tax credits.
