Purdue surprised Davidson by jumping out to a 21-0 lead in the first half, and the Wildcats never recovered, losing 76-58 in Indianapolis Saturday afternoon in the John Wooden Tradition game. The Cats have dug themselves deep first-half holes previously this season, but they couldn’t climb out of this one.
