Christmas in Davidson will bring Santa, horse drawn carriages, and other events to Davidson Dec. 4-6 as well as something else: Street closings and parking restrictions. Here’s a list of planned closings:

Beginning at 4 p.m. on both Thursday, Dec. 4, and Friday, Dec. 5, parking will be blocked off along Main Street between Concord Road and Jackson Street.  Main Street will close to traffic at 5 p.m. those nights and any remaining cars will be towed.

Main Street will reopen each night between 9:30 and 10 p.m.

Parking on Main Street also will be blocked at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, due to the North Mecklenburg Christmas Parade, and will reopen after Christmas in Davidson that night.
