The Town Board meets Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Town Hall for its monthly work session. The relatively light agenda includes a presentation by Jerry Broadway, head of the Lake Norman Regional Economic Development Corp. (EDC); an update on planning for the community recreation center and renovation project at Davidson IB Middle School on South Street; and a discussion of proposed changes in the town’s sign ordinance. The board also plans a closed session to discuss an undisclosed property purchase.
The EDC is a nonprofit organization created in 2003 by Cornelius, Davidson and Huntersville to guide economic development business recruiting for the region. More at www.lakenormanregion.com.
