Downtown Davidson Inc. press release
Sgt. Scott Misenheimer has been a member of the Davidson Police for 20 years. He’s one of those faces that people immediately recognize. He spends many hours at Davidson Elementary as well as downtown with merchants and business folks. Recently, Officer Misenheimer and his family suffered severe damage to their home from fire, smoke and water.
Downtown Davidson Inc. is heading up a campaign to support the Misenheimer family. Merchants downtown will have jack-o-lanterns allowing customers to drop off monetary donations, gift cards, or notes/cards of support. On Halloween evening, Davidson Elementary students will be carrying special “treat” bags to collect for “Officer Scott” as well – so be prepared for them with lots of coins, dollars or cards on that evening! It’s time to show one of our police officers how much we appreciate all he’s done for the town and individuals. Checks can be made out to DDI and note “Misenheimer” on the memo section.
