Wake Forest’s top rated men’s soccer team beat Davidson, 3-0, Tuesday night in front of a record 1,921 fans at Alumni Soccer Stadium. The Demon Deacons – defending national champions – outran and oushot the Wildcats, who fell to 2-11-1 on the season. Wake improved to 14-0-1.
Wake had 25 shots and 10 corner kicks to Davidson’s 9 shots and 5 corners. Cody Amoux had two of Wake’s goals; Zack Shilawski had the other.
