St. Alban’s will sponsoring a golf tournament Oct. 20 at River Run Country Club to raise money to build a Habitat for Humanity house. It will be a day of great food, great golf, lots of contests and a chance for golfers to enjoy the sport and make a difference in others’ lives.
The tournament will be in captain’s choice format, with a modified handicap. It begins with a lunch from Stool Pigeons Coop & Grill, then teams will head out to the course. Among the contests are Hole in One, Closest to the Pin, Mulligans and Longest Drive.
The cost is $400 for a team, which covers lunch and greens fees for four players. Every dollar contributed will go directly to the St. Alban’s Habitat build.
