Davidson came from 21 points down Saturday to defeat Jacksonville, 38-35, in a homecoming football game at Richardson Field. The Wildcats won the game when sophomore placekicker Ben Behrendt booted a 23-yard field goal with 42 seconds left.  For more about the game, visit www.davidsonwildcats.com.

Mr. Behrendt was named the Pioneer Football League’s Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance, which included hitting all five of his extra point kicks during the game. Davidson plays at Morehead State Saturday at 1 p.m.
