A Canadian homebuilder has completed a reverse merger with Davidson-based mobile phone search and information company UpSnap Inc., the Charlotte Business Journal reported on its website Thursday. The deal gives Duratech Group Inc. a publicly-traded “shell” so it can be listed on the stock market more easily than going public through a traditional process. Meanwhile, UpSnap’s assets were transferred to a new company, UpSnap Services. UpSnap Inc. had been losing revenues because of slow adoption of its products.
