The local Rotary club district 7680 is seeking four outstanding professionals to participate in a Group Study Exchange visit Egypt from April 2 to May 5, 2009. Rotary will cover all costs except incidental and personal expenses for the selected participants.
Rotary’s Group Study Exchange Program arranges for young professionals from different countries exchange visits. For four weeks, team members experience the way of life, customs, and vocational practices of another country, while sharing information about their homeland.
The purpose of the Group Study Exchange program is to promote international understanding and goodwill through personal connection. While in Egypt, team members will stay in Rotarians’ homes and meet professional counterparts. They also give presentations to Rotary clubs and other groups about their home country.
The program will consider adults between the ages of 25 and 40 who are employed full-time. Applicants may not be directly related to any living Rotarian. Applicants must live or be employed in Rotary district 7680, which encompasses Charlotte and eleven (11) counties around Lake Norman.
