The G. Jackson Burney Community Service award will be given again this fall to a citizen or citizens for extraordinary service to the town. Friends of the late Mr. Burney, including members of the local group WIMPS (We’re Intent on Making Progress Slowly), are trying to raise contributions, which are donated to a charity chosen by the award winners.
