Mary Mancil Hill
Mary Mancil Hill, 72, of the River Run neighborhood died Thursday, Sept. 11, 2008, at her home. A memorial service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Raymer Funeral Home in Huntersville.
She was born on Oct. 2, 1935, in Andalusia, Ala., to the late Claude and Pearl Mancil. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert V. Hill.
Survivors include her sister, Betty Sue Phillips; daughters, Belinda Wilkerson and husband Mark; Leslee West and husband Craig; son, Trey Powell and wife Mandy; grandchildren, Samantha Wilkerson, Matthew West, Mary Glenn West, Carson Powell, Noah Kiger; Ella Powell; nieces and nephews, Larry and Cindy King, Jeff Phillips, Libby and Tom Williams, and Suzanne and Neal Watson.
A memorial service will be held Monday, Sept. 15, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Raymer Funeral Home, 16901 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, with Chaplain Kris Kawulok officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
