Davidson Parks & Recreation is now accepting registration for fall programs, including adult trips to the Charlotte Symphony or Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, a 50-plus coffee club on Wednesday mornings, the Davidson Senior Scholars, painting and flower-arranging classes, as well as sports, yoga, tai-chi and other health and fitness activities for kids and adults. Meanwhile, save the date: Saturday, Oct. 25, from 6-9 p.m., the towns of Davidson, Huntersville and Cornelius will stage the annual Halloween Spooktacular in Huntersville.

HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR
Join the Parks & Recreation Departments of Davidson, Cornelius, and Huntersville, as they present a Halloween “Spooktacular” Saturday, Oct. 25, 6-9 p.m. This year’s event will take place at North Mecklenburg Park, 16131 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville. It’s a fun way to enjoy Halloween in a festive environment safe for families and kids of all ages. Free activities will include a costume contest, storytelling, and an after dark egg hunt. Hayrides, carnival games, inflatables, and concessions will be available for minimal charges. Prices for games and rides range from 50 cents to $5. Come join the fun!
