A group of Ultimate Frisbee enthusiasts that has been gathering at the Lake Norman YMCA on Thursday nights is starting league play this fall. Registration for the league begins today (Monday, Aug. 11) and continues through Friday, Sept. 5.

Play will begin Sept. 18, with games every Thursday at 7 and 8 p.m. Five-person teams must have at least one female player. The season will consist of seven games. A playoff round will be organized after the end of the regular season. Registration is $20 for members, $30 for program members of the Y.
