U.S. Rep. Mel Watt will be in Davidson Thursday, Aug. 7, for a Town Meeting on housing. The meeting will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Davidson Town Hall. Rep. Watt will address, among other things, Congress’s recent housing legislation, concerns about predatory lending, and other housing related issues. Organizers say he is especially interested in hearing the housing concerns of his constituents in the 12th district. He also will be available to answer questions.
