Kids performing for kids will be the focus of “The Connie Company Goes Global,” a show Sunday evening at the Davidson Town Hall. That’s the final night in a weekend summer tour (with stops in Cornelius and Sherrills Ford) by The Connie Company, which is the Davidson Community Players’ theater for kids. The show will feature a rollicking romp around the globe, with stories, songs and more aimed at ages three and up.
Saturday, the Lake Norman YMCA will host a blood drive in the morning and Summit Coffee will have a beer tasting in the evening. Plus we have the scoop on kids’ story time, and meetings for the local Aglow chapter and an Alzheimer’s support group.
