Former Davidson College President Bobby Vagt is settling into his new job as head of the Heinz Endowments in Pittsburgh. As he does, he’s getting a thorough look over by the community, including a candid profile in today’s Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Report Dan Fitzpatrick writes that Mr. Vagt possesses humor and humility, but also “steeliness” and a willingness to fire those who don’t perform.
