Davidson Public Library on the Village Green has a variety of programs scheduled in March, including story time for pre-schoolers, a toddler program called Jumping Jacks, and an “Animate a Movie” program for middle-school and teenagers that will each how to create a 2-D movie. Here’s the full list:
Preschool Storytime
Age(s):Pre-school
A 30 minute storytime that consists of books, fingergames, flannelboard stories and musical activities.
March 3 & 17, 10:15 a.m.
Jumping Jacks
Age(s):Toddlers
A 20 – 30 minute storytime for 2 year olds that consists of books, fingergames, flannelboard stories and musical activities.
March 3 & 17, 11 a.m.
Paws to Read
Age(s):Elementary School
Come read to Dudley the English Setter who is a certified therapy dog. Dudley loves kids and loves to be read to!
Mondays at 3:30 p.m.
Animate a Movie
Age(s):Middle School, Teens
Use the animation station and iCanAnimate software to create your own 2D movie in seconds. Take home a copy of a DVD. Call 704-892-8557 for more info. and/or register

Yearlings

A 15-20 minutes storytime for toddlers ages 12 – 24 months.
