Margo Williams will give Davidson College’s annual Chidsey Leadership Lecture Monday, Feb. 18, at 8 p.m. in the Alvarez College Union 900 Room. The Davidson Town Board member and president of the Davidson Housing Coalition will speak on “From Vision to Action: A Case Study on Collaborative Leadership.”
Ms. Williams will share her story about being a politician helping to building a shared vision in town, challenging the status quo, and how the town finds ways to maintain socio-economic diversity amid rising housing costs.
The lecture is named for John Chidsey, Davidson class of 1983 and CEO of Burger King and is part of a leadership training program at the college. It is free and open to the public. A reception will follow.
