The Town of Davidson’s Heart for the Arts sale of rose bouquets has been extended. The new deadline for purchases, which will help support the Arts & Science Council, is Monday, Feb. 11.

Roses may be ordered for friends, family, lovers, co-workers or whoever is special to you. They’ll be delivered (in Davidson only) on Feb. 14.

Each bouquet – a rose with baby’s breath tied with a ribbon – is $5.

Organizers say they have approximately 30 rose bouquets left. If you’re interested in placing an order, drop by Town Hall on Monday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. or call 704-892-7591, then push #9, and leave a message with your order (must include the following information: name and phone number of the person ordering, name and address of each recipient (must have a Davidson address for delivery) number of rose bouquets for each recipient.

Roses can only be delivered in the Town of Davidson. However, if you wish to honor someone outside the Town, you can pick up your roses at the Town Hall and deliver them yourself.
