Town employees string holiday lights on one of the trees on the Village Green Wednesday, Nov. 7. Local celebrations include the 19th annual Christmas in Davidson downtown Nov. 30-Dec. 1. Meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, ride a horse-drawn carriage and sip hot cider. They’ll also have strolling carolers, street magicians and live music; and a holiday parade Dec. 1. (David Boraks photo)
