Developer Joe Grooms is proposing a 10,000- to 12,000-square-foot office building on Barra Row, off Beaty Street near the entrance to Ingersoll-Rand. The town planning department will host a public planning workshop on the project Wednesday at 1 p.m., beginning with a visit to the site.

The four-acre site already has an existing office building. Mr. Grooms wants to construct a second building on the site.

The public is invited to participate in the planning session. It will start with a visit to the site at 1 p.m., followed by an afternoon workshop and a pin-up session at 7 p.m.
