The calendar this week includes a couple of public meetings of interest in Davidson neighborhoods. On Tuesday, residents of the Armour Street/Hobbs Hill neighborhood are invited to town hall to discuss neighborhood issues, including possibly forming a block watch. Then on Thursday, town planners and developers proposing 34 luxury homes on 17 acres off Pine Road will hold a follow-up planning workshop, beginning with a site visit at 1 p.m. Also this week, Downtown Davidson Inc.’s annual meeting Thursday and the Davidson Land Conservancy’s Run for Green half-marathon, 5-k and fun run.
