Davidson police said Wednesday night that a shooting last weekend at a rental home on Armour Street was “domestic-related and no outside parties were involved.”

The additional details about the Friday night shooting emerged Wednesday night when Police Chief Jeanne Miller met with about 50 residents from the Hobbs Hill and Armour Street neighborhoods.

A summary of Wednesday’s meeting provided this morning by the town said Chief Miller expects to press charges against those involved. The statement said that police have discussed the situation with  property owner, and are “hopeful that the tenants will be evicted from the residence.”
