The Town of Davidson’s communications department released the following statement Saturday morning about a shooting Friday night: Last night at approximately 10:50 p.m., Davidson Police officers responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting at 220 Armour Street. Officers found a white male in his mid-20s who had been shot. He was transported to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition. His injuries are not life threatening.  Police have identified a person of interest and are following several leads.
