A public hearing is planned Monday night at 6 at Town Hall on the proposed purchase of the former Adelphia Communications internet and cable system by Mooresville and Davidson. Also on the calendar this week: the monthly Design Review Board meeting, a meeting of the Greenprint Stakeholders Committee, and live music at Summit Coffee.

MONDAY, AUG. 6, 6 p.m., Davidson Town Hall – Public hearing on the town’s proposed purchase of the former Adelphia cable television and internet system, along with Mooresville. Citizens are invited to speak.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 8, 7 p.m., Davidson Town Hall – Design Review Board monthly meeting. Agenda includes discussion of possible ordinance revisions, project update and sign approval, for 109 N. Main St.
