Town planners, residents and developers will spend two days next week discussing a proposed residential development on about 17 acres at the end of Pine Road controlled by the Lawrence Kimbrough family.

The tw0-day planning workshop will begin with an introductory session Wednesday, May 16, from 6-9 p.m. at Town Hall. A session from 2-5 p.m. on Thursday will be devoted to public input, and a session from 5-7 p.m. will look at design.

A closing presentation from 7-9 p.m. Thursday will include an update on progress of the design for the development.

Davidson planners say a follow-up session will be scheduled in a couple of weeks to present a fine-tuned design that incorporates recommendations from the workshops. For details, call the Davidson planning department at 704-892-7591
