Davidson Town Day on Saturday, May 5, tops the list of May programs at Davidson Parks & Recreation. The all day festival runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with food and entertainment, a kiddie train for preschoolers, a kids’ bicycle rodeo a “bungee run” for adults. Entertainment features local bluegrass group Davidson Express, Clog Carolina, and Flex Flyer.

Mommy and Me Yoga 1586
For parents of babies 6 weeks to 6 months (pre-crawlers).
An interactive yoga class designed to strengthen the bond between mom and baby.
Sound, touch, movement, and relaxation techniques will be included. Slow moving postures will help to balance and restore the physical needs of new moms and baby while focusing on relieving common areas of tension experienced by many new moms. Moms can begin class after their post partum check-up and receiving the okay from their caretaker. All non-mobile babies are welcome.
