What a fabulous event at Summit Coffee yesterday! As a parent of a child with autism, I am so grateful to Tim Helfrich and all of the staff at Summit who worked hard all day and night with the steady flow of customers. Thank you to all of the musicians who donated their time and enthusiasm. The music was first rate! For so many, parenting a child with autism is an isolating experience, but not for us. Having all of our friends, neighbors and tons of people we don’t even know turn out meant the world to both of us. It gives us so much hope and energy to face tomorrow, to guide our son toward his future.
Thanks so much to everyone who came out. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful experience. What a beautiful outpouring of love!
