Davidson College’s men’s and women’s basketball teams both advanced to the semifinals of their respective Southern Conference championship tournaments in Charleston, S.C., on Thursday.
The men ousted the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, 76-68, with help from Jason Richards and Stephen Curry, who both scored 20. The No. 1-seeded Wildcats play Friday night at 6 against Furman.
The women defeated Wofford, 71-62, and next play Chattanooga Friday at 2:30 p.m.
