A fund-raising dance called the “Education for All Ball” is planned Friday night, Feb. 23, at Davidson College.
The event, open to both town residents and the college community, will include hors d’oeuvres, dancing and a silent auction. Proceeds will benefit Charlotte’s KIPP Academy and Kenya Rotary Scholarships.
The keynote speaker is Keith Burnam, director of the Charlotte KIPP Academy. Music is by the Off Main student jazz group and another student group, Stalking Louisiana.
