Davidson College’s men’s basketball team plays its first home game of the season tonight (Wednesday, Nov. 25) at 7 p.m., hosting Fredonia State at Belk Arena. One of the two teams will get its first win of the season tonight: The Cats are 0-4, while the Blue Devils, from upstate New York, have lost twice.
This year is the first since 2000-2001 that the Wildcats have started a season with four straight away games. On Sunday, they lost by one bucket to Penn State, 59-57, at the ESPN Charleston Classic.
Fredonia State is coached by eight-year leader Kevin Moore. The Blue Devils were 18-10 last year, making it to the championship game of the SUNYAC Tournament.
