Gary Crook

Gary Lynn Crook, 65, of Davidson, died Thursday, October 8, 2009, at CMC University Hospital, of carcinoid cancer. A funeral is planned Saturday at Raymer Funeral Home. Details below.

Gary was born on Aug. 28, 1944, in Winston Salem. He worked in the tire business for more than 35 years. He loved music, drag racing, Panthers football, Carolina Tarheels, college basketball and cats, especially, his cat Muffin.

Survivors include his wife Cindy Crook; daughter, Andrea Crook; and sisters, Cindy Holmes and Belinda Garrett.

The family would like to thank Dr. Woodard and his staff as well as Dr. Portwood for their loving care.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, in the chapel of Raymer Funeral Home with Margaret Nunez officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
