Russell Mase
Russell Mase is a retired Presbyterian minister who lives in Davidson. He tells a touching story about caroling on a Christmas Eve many years ago. We first heard him tell this story at a holiday gathering of Davidson’s Centennial Book Club in 2007. It’s such a heart-warming tale that we persuaded him to record it for DavidsonNews.net for Christmas 2008. Thank you for the honesty and tenderness in this story. Russell’s decision to respond gingerly despite being told otherwise shows his wisdom and compassion. Theresa’s piano was the perfect foil for such a poignant story. Great idea to do this, David…a gift and reminder to all of us.
