Concert draws a crowd of groovy picnickers

It was standing room only at Downtown Davidson Inc.’s Concert on the Green Sunday, June 1, with the Beatles’ tribute band Abbey Road Live. Winners of the evening’s “grooviest picnic” award, above, were Pat Lambert (left) and Ruth Perry. At right, runners up were (from left) Pat Stenhause, LuAnn Christine and Jane McDonald.
