The Rev.Lib McGregor Simmons will be installed Sunday, June 1, at 3 p.m. as the new pastor at Davidson College Presbyterian Church. Rev. Simmons grew up on a farm in South Carolina, graduated from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Ga., and received her master of divinity degree at Columbia Theological Seminary in Atlanta. She talked this week with DavidsonNews.net’s David Boraks about her decision to come to Davidson from San Antonio, about her first impressions of Davidson and about the work ahead.
