Affordable homes nearing completion

A number of affordable homes are nearing completion or have been recently completed in Davidson, and are coming onto the market for purchase, according to Cindy Reid, the town’s affordable housing coordinator.
Newly completed or near completion are homes or townhomes in the South Main Square, Summer’s Walk, Walnut Grove, and Harbour Place developments.
Developers have built the homes to comply with town rules that require at least 12.5 percent of the units in any new neighborhood or complex be affordable to people who meet certain income guidelines.
