Spencer talks about “Save the Bus”
Posted on August 11th, 2007 by Davidson News Staff
Davidson’s Sam Spencer IV was interviewed on Charlotte public radio station WFAE-FM last week about the campaign he is helping to lead to save the Charlotte Transit bus system. Mr. Spencer, a Davidson College student, says this November’s referendum on the 1/2 cent sales tax for transit is more about buses than light-rail, which has dominated the discussion so far.
