Creative Art Exchange plans art auction

Creative Art Exchange will host a fund-raising party and art auction at its new home in the Oak Street Mill, Cornelius, this Thursday, May 24, from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

The event will include live and silent auctions of artworks donated by local artists, many of whom will attend Thursday’s event. The center’s ceramic artists will have a kiln opening, where you can see just-fired pieces emerging.
Hors d’eouvres and wine will be served.

The community arts education center earlier this year moved from Davidson to Cornelius, into a converted mill building that has been re-christened as the Cornelius Arts Center. It’s at 19725 Oak St., behind the Cornelius police department. For ticket information, call 704-892-7323 or visit the exchange website: www.creativeartexchange.org
