On campus: Education for All Ball Friday

A fund-raising dance called the “Education for All Ball” is planned Friday night, Feb. 23, at Davidson College.
The event, open to both town residents and the college community, will include hors d’oeuvres, dancing and a silent auction. Proceeds will benefit Charlotte’s KIPP Academy and Kenya Rotary Scholarships.

Plan board to vote on Sheraton project

The Davidson Planning Board will decide Monday (Feb. 26) whether to recommend town board approval of the proposed Sheraton hotel and conference center off Griffith Street near Exit 30.
